The chart is computed from ephemeris and lunisolar calendar data, verified against a reference chart. The reading is written to a fixed specification, checked by code against the computed chart (a placement that is not in your chart stops it), reviewed by a person, and run through a layout check before it is sent.

A few things you may be wondering.
What exactly will I receive?
A digital portrait based on your birth details, bringing together Western astrology, BaZi, and Human Design. It explores recurring themes, points of agreement and tension, and practices for reflection. You can read a full sample before deciding.
Do I need to believe in astrology?
No. Decoda uses three symbolic systems as languages for self-reflection. It does not predict your future or prove who you are. Read it critically and decide what resonates with your experience.
What if I don't know my birth time?
Birth time affects parts of the reading. Please don't guess.
The current reading is calculated from an exact time, and there is no reduced version for an unknown time yet. Your birth certificate or civil birth record is usually the most reliable source. If you cannot find it, email trydecoda@gmail.com before you buy and we will tell you honestly whether a portrait makes sense for you.
How is my portrait created?
Your chart is computed from astronomical ephemeris data and a lunisolar calendar, not estimated. The reading itself is written by an AI language model that works from that computed chart and follows a fixed internal specification, so every statement is tied to a chart factor rather than invented.
Before it is sent, the reading is reviewed against the computed chart line by line and run through an automated layout check. It is not written by a human astrologer, and we would rather say so than call it handcrafted.
When will it arrive?
By email, within 24 hours of receiving complete birth details. Each portrait is reviewed by a person before it is sent, so it is not instant. The Glimpse is.
How is my birth information used?
Your name, birth date, birth time, and birth place are used for one purpose: to calculate your chart and write your portrait. They are collected at checkout, and are never sold or used for advertising.
Portrait requests are deleted within 90 days. The full details, including every service that touches your data, are in the privacy policy.
What does it cost?
The full portrait is $19, a founding price for the first readers. It will later be $29. One payment, no subscription, nothing to renew.

What if the portrait isn't right for me?
Your portrait reads years you have already lived. Check them first. If they do not match, reply to the delivery email or write to trydecoda@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery and you get a full refund. Tell us what missed if you can: it feeds directly into the next version.
